William Roman, of Egg Harbor Township, pleaded guilty to two counts of child endangerment in connection with the child pornography charges, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
The plea came in exchange for 12 years in New Jersey State Prison, the prosecutor said.
An investigation began when the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office High-Tech Crimes Unit received information regarding Roman’s online activities from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The investigation revealed that Roman was sharing child pornography on Snapchat, the prosecutor said.
Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 7.
